We're living interesting times... Actually, I believe there never was such a good time to be in IT. Since its inception more than sixty years ago, our industry has gone through a fabulous journey. However spectacular the evolution was so far, it pales in comparison with what's about to come.
There are four major directions the industry is taking that are likely to challenge the very foundation of modern IT. I am referring here to Mixed Reality, Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence, and Quantum Computing. As a lifelong disciple of AI and quantum physics enthusiast, I am more than thrilled (you can imagine :) ) to see the objects of my scientific passions transforming into mainstream, tangible, and life-changing technologies.
Although I deem Mixed Reality and Internet of Things as equally important directions, this little corner of the digital world I'm starting today will deal mostly with the other two: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Quantum Computing (QC). I believe these are the areas where I can do my best in terms of sharing some of the things I've learned in over twenty years of business and academic career.
I intend to use this space as a support for the many talks I give on AI and QC as well as a reference for all people interested in understanding and/or learning more about these two fabulous domains.
